SNAP & SHOP TRAY | Product Review

Hey Y’all!

So I was surfing Facebook the other day and stumbled across these Snap & Shop Trays that you snap on the shopping cart to hold snacks for your kids. I don’t know about you guys but my son is horrible when it comes to snacks in the store. He makes a HUGE mess and I feel like that hot mess mom who leaves tons of messes for the Target employees. Sorry Target! Please don’t end our amazing relationship. image1-6

When I saw them I immediately thought they were awesome. Checked them out and the price was super reasonable so I ordered 2.  They were $14.99 and shipped free. I ordered them and received them in about a week by USPS. You can find them HERE. They came in a few different color options so I ordered a pink one for my 6 year old and a aqua colored one for my 2 year old.

I really loved how durable and easy to use these trays are. You can throw them in your purse or diaper bag which is always a must in my house.

We tested the aqua one out at Target and it worked so well. Easy to use and really didn’t get flimsy or feel like it was going to fall off the cart at all. I was also able to easily re-attach the lid if my son wasn’t using it.

Overall, I really love these trays and will be using them A LOT. For $15, you can’t beat them. These get our mommy seal of approval.

May Favorites| Lip Products

Hey Y’all!

Cora and I decided we are going to start doing a series with different products every month. To start May favorites I am doing my favorite lip products. These are the lip items I have been reaching for the most.

This months favorites just happen to be ColourPop.

First up I also try to keep my lips moisturized and exfoliated. I am using the Origins Lip Remedy currently and really love it.

For an easy to apply on the go lipstick I have been using ColourPop Lippie Stix in the shade Parker with Colourpop Glossy Lip in the shade Game On over it.

ColourPop Parker & Game On

Matte Lips are always in but since its Spring transitioning to Summer its the perfect time to wear those pretty purples, nudes and rose pinks. My favorite matte this month is ColourPop Matte Lip in the shade Milk Bottle from the Hello Kitty Collection. Unfortunately this one is no longer available on ColourPop’s site but you could probably find it in the B/S/T part of Colourpop Fanatics Facebook group run by the awesome Adelina. You can find this group by following the link HERE.

Bumble & Bumble Hairdressers Invisible Oil | Product Review

Hey GlamBar Girls!

Recently I have been in the market for a new conditioner for my mermaid locks. I asked on my Facebook what everyone’s favorite conditioner was. A few stood out for me to try but as I was quickly vetoing several due to ingredients, one stood out to me the most. Bumble&Bumble Hairdressers Invisible Oil just sounded so incredibly right for my mermaid locks!

IMG_6797The description says “6 featherlight oils that helps soften, silken and tame” All the things I needed to tame the frizz that this nasty Florida weather causes! To much of my surprise after the first use, it did exactly that!

Shoutout to Savannah for this recommendation 😽 Thanks boo!

Here is the link I used to purchase mine!

I hope everyone has an amazing week!

Origins #MyPerfectWorld Launch Event| April 1 , 2017

image7

Image from Origins Facebook Page.

Origin’s had their launch event today.  We received an invite through Influenster and because I am close enough to an Origins store, I was able to spend the morning at Origins at Market Commons in Arlington, VA checking out all the new products. You can find their new products and others here.

Since Cora and I live so far apart * Cue tears*,  I brought along my 6 yr old daughter to spend the morning with me. She had a blast going into the “city” and exploring the store. We even made a pit stop at Sephora.

image4-2

Isn’t she the cutest?!?

The event had cupcakes, snacks, drinks, tea readings, charcoal portraits and mini facials. We had a ton of fun trying out the new products and interacting with other influencers.

image6-2

I have never really bought any Origin products but I was really impressed with how amazing their new anti-aging cream felt and how great their products smell. They aren’t over-powering at all.

It was really  crowded towards the time that I went to check out so I wasn’t able to grab any of the new goodies but I will try to grab some online to put in a giveaway for the future.

I grabbed a quick video of the products that you can view below or on our Instagram.

I picked up a few goodies for myself using the 20% off code we received for attending the event and they gave us a free journal which I love. I wasn’t able to get a charcoal portrait or tea reading but that is kind of the life when you are attending an event with a kiddo.

image5-2

Um.. Hello mix and mask option! Yes Please!!

Thank you Influenster & Origins for inviting us to attend this launch event. We had a blast and I can’t wait to try more products from you guys!

Influenster Charm VoxBox |March 2017

Hey Y’all!

Influenster sent us the Charm VoxBox for March and it was actually really cool! As a mom, I don’t always take the time to do anything for myself, let’s be real I never take time for myself in general. In my VoxBox were some goodies for me and some things to make my mom day go a little better.

In the Box:

Peeps Delights Coconut Flavored Marshmallows DIPPED in Chocolate – Retail for $1.99

Vera Wang Green Tea & Pear Blossom | Periwinkle & Iris – Retail for $29.99 each

Eva NYC Clean It Up Shampoo – Retail for $9.99

Eva NYC Therapy Session Hair Mask – Retail for $11.99

Mott’s Applesauce Pouch – Retail for $2.09 in most stores

Wet N Wild 1 Step WonderGel Nail Color – Retail for $4.99

McCormick Organics Taco Seasoning Mix – Retail for $1.50/ individual packet

My Thoughts:

Peeps | I’ll be honest I am not a fan of coconut anything. I just don’t like the flavor unless it is really faint. I had my husband taste these first and he liked them so I tried one. The coconut flavoring isn’t overwhelming which is really good. I think I would personally prefer just a plain marshmallow dipped in chocolate which is a flavor option that they do have if you decide to buy them in stores. Overall for being free, I really liked it and would buy the normal version that is dipped in chocolate for a sweet treat to sneak when my kids are being brats.

Vera Wang Perfumes| I am not a huge perfume person. I was when I was younger but now they just give me headaches so I avoid them. I was pleasantly surprised with the Vera Wang scents. They are subtle and don’t feel like your nose is being attacked with fragrance which I really like. The two scents I got have an awesome spring time vibe and I am planning on wearing the green tea and pear blossom one to an upcoming event.

Eva NYC Shampoo & Hair Mask | These are great. I absolutely loved them. Hands down great products.

Mott’s Applesauce | I have a 2 year old who eats pouches and loves applesauce. Enough said.. They were a huge hit.

Wet N Wild Wondergel | So this is the one product that I actually used to indulge and have a little mom pampering time and I am so glad I did. I really love how easy this fingernail polish is to apply and it’s not crazy messy. Dries pretty quick for being a gel and I LOVE the Periwinkle color for spring. As a mom of 2, how a product holds up is important and this has held up amazingly to wear and tear of lots of hand washes and general motherhood. image2-2

McCormick Organic Taco Seasoning| Um… TACOS…Organic… enough said.  Just another reason to have taco night and this time I can say ” I fed my kids organic tacos with grass fed beef, handmade tortillas and fresh lettuce and avocado.” I mean, I didn’t really make them with anything new other than the McCormick seasoning but hey, that seasoning is Organic!

Thank You Influenster & all of these great Brands for sending us a box. We loved every bit of it.
